A limit to banding?

I was thinking about this, and ill share with you the idea:

Banding 6 cards, cards are 6/5, so the total is 36/30, feels very undefeatable. All i believe you can do is try to either jump up in strength and/or try to remove as many as you can. So i was wondering, is there a limit to this to prevent some great chain that allows you to get to 50/50?

Have you checked the REG?
Have you looked it up in ORCID?

So, thats the only card to stop it? i bet its a rare card, and due to that, it may be easier to just redo the big banding again, knowing the card is already used. The only problem the person doing the banding is that they are slightly weaker.

I'm not sure which cards you're referring to (Tribal Elder and Jacob come to mind) but there are quite a few ways to stop banding. Household Idols and Scattered (as aforementioned), anything that negates the band, cards like Achan's Sin, Korah's Rebellion, and Joseph in Prison that take out all heroes in battle. Plus, the player who bands has to rely on having all of the 6 cards. Martin Miller (Un4giv3able) made a really successful deck that was based around warrior-class banding chains. There's really not much of a need for a limit because huge banding isn't as unbeatable as you may think. Although, if you create a deck that utilizes very high numbered banding chains and you go undefeated then you might force us to put a limit on it.  ;)

The Philistines (specifically Goliath and Twelve-Fingered Giant) are also good ECs that can be used to bring down big banding chains.

Herods can be even better, because they do mean nasty things to those big bands they disrupt and are CBP as well for the FBTN bands.  But yes, Phillies and Herods are among the best themes for dealing with bands, though as others point out, single cards (like Household Idols) can shut down banding just as easily (until they explode ;)).
