i discard captured ark from my artifact pile to uzzah's effect. can i get captured ark back with scribes effect?
Scribe (Di)
Type: Evil Char. • Brigade: Black/Gray • Ability: 2 / 4 • Class: None • Special Ability: Search discard pile for an O.T. Enhancement and place it beneath deck. Negate ignore abilities. May band to a Pharisee or Sadducee. • Identifiers: Generic NT Male Human • Verse: Luke 20:46 • Availability: Disciples booster packs ()

In the discard pile Captured Ark is at face value, which makes it a Curse. You cannot choose to target it as an Enhancement with Scribe. Golgotha + Abraham's Descendant works though.
-
I thought Curses/Covenants were always treated as both until activated as one or the other....?
-
actually until you choose which one to use them as they are treated as neither. in the draw/discard pile they are cov/curses at face value so you can't search for/get them with anything that targets artifacts or enhancements.
-
Covenant cards and curse cards are treated as enhancements cards when used in a battle. They are treated as artifacts when used on an artifact pile. Covenant cards and curse cards are not treated as enhancements or artifacts when they are in a draw pile, a discard pile, or a player’s hand; they are treated as covenant cards or curse cards.
The REG and I agree with Gabe and Ryupeco11

I sit corrected.
-
that reg statement cant be entirely accurate; i was told by sir nobody that you could discard a covenant/curse to uzzah's effect from hand.

This is also true.
Basically if you are searching for a curse/covenant, or if your opponent is trying to target them (ie. to discard them), then they are only curse/covenants. But if you have already drawn one then you get to decide how to use it. Therefore you can decide to treat it as an art/curse/covenant and put it in your artifact pile (or discard it for Uzzah). Or you can decide to treat it as an enh/curse/covenant and put it in battle, or storehouse (or discard it for Zimri).

Golgotha + Abraham's Descendant works though.
Can I search for a covenant with moses and elders?
Moses and Elders (Pa)
Type: Hero Enh. • Brigade: White • Ability: 2 / 2 • Class: None • Special Ability: Search your discard pile for any good card, except a Dominant or Artifact card, and put it into your hand. • Play As: Search your discard pile for any good card, except a Dominant or Artifact card, and place it into your hand. • Identifiers: None • Verse: Exodus 18:21 • Availability: Patriarchs booster packs (Ultra Rare)
What about with lost coin found?
Lost Coin Found (Ap)
Type: Hero Enh. • Brigade: White • Ability: 2 / 3 • Class: None • Special Ability: Holder may search discard pile for any good enhancement worth 3/3 or less. • Play As: Holder may search discard pile for any good enhancement worth 3/3 or less and put it hand. • Identifiers: None • Verse: Luke 15:8 • Availability: Apostles booster packs (Uncommon)
For some reason I was under the impression that I couldnt place a curse on Golgotha...
Can I play Great Faith and pull out a covenant?
-
Moses and Elders - Yes, it only says good card ( non-Dom, non-Art) and a Cov fits that's description.
Lost Coin - No, in the discard pile a Cov is only a Cov
Golgotha - Yes, it was purposefully worded to allow EEs and Curses by saying "skull icon". Golgotha is "the place of the skull" after all. Let the recursion begin!
Great Faith - No, I think it just says enhancement.
-
nice didnt think about the skull icon part...
