If someone has used their Captured Ark one time, and I use mine to shuffle theirs, does it "reset" so that it can be used twice again?

I believe cards that are limited by use have a "permanent status" of being used to avoid being able to use it over and over by shuffling.

I think that's only if it has a "per game" limit (such as Holy Grail or Jephthah).

HG and Jepthah do NOT reset when shuffled.  Captured Ark does reset.

Only cards that say  "may be used X times per game" do not reset, every other artifact resets.  So yeah, there are several good type 2 combos with Captured ark
