Evil Characters' toughness are added, and all of them benefit from each other. The situation is exactly the same as if Lying Spirit was banded to any other 10/11 EC, the only difference being is if the total strength of all NT Heroes and enhancements used by them is greater than or equal to the total toughness of Lying Spirit and Claudius, then only Lying Spirit is discarded, Claudius survives and the battle is a stalemate.
