Captain of the Host (Ki) SA: Negate all non-weapon class special abilities except banding.

Battle Cry SA: Interrupt the battle and band as many heroes from holder's territory as holder chooses.

Does Captain negate Battle Cry?

One point of clarification, Captain would prevent the "interrupt the battle" portion of Battle Cry.

Example:

Joshua band to Captain of the Host.
Opponent has Jericho in play (making his cards "cannot be prevented" since Joshua is a Cloud Hero).
Opponent plays a card to discard Joshua and Captain giving them special initiative.
Battle Cry could not be used in this case because Captain prevents the interrupt ability.
