Title: Captain of the Host (Ki) Question

The REG says to "Play As: Negate all special abilities on Characters and Enhancements (except banding, weapons, and Captain’s special abilities)."

If the blocker plays a weapon-class enhancement on a regular EC (non-warrior-class), is the special ability negated?

No, because it is a WC enhancement. Whether or not it is attached to the person is irrelevant to the situation.
