Welcome to the Official Redemption® Message Board!
NICE! But now it's gonna get an errata... it might already have one.
You cannot convert a demon to a hero. That is somewhere in the rulebook or REG.But the more important issue is...<==== THIS!....and______________ THIS ______________| | | | | || | | | | |v v v v v v
Look at STAMP's post again. Follow the arrows....
This card already received a Play As forever ago."Play As: Selected a human Hero. The holder of that Hero may select a human Evil Character of opposite gender of the Hero. Convert that Evil Character to a Gold brigade Hero. When the hero is removed from play, the Evil Character converts back to an Evil Character in the brigade it was before it was converted to a hero."

Apparently, however, the more important issues involve Spud and the fact that LN was a national NW champion.
Ah! I didn't see you come in! Let's get right down to the discussion, shall we? Today, I happened to chance upon the good gold-brigade enhancement "Sanctifying Faith." It reads as follows:"Selected human Hero chooses one Evil Character of opposite gender to be a Hero. Evil Character stays a Hero until selected Hero is discarded. Evil Character then returns to owner's territory an Evil Character."At this point, it struck me that the only requirement was that the chosen Evil Character be the opposite gender of the selected Hero. I remembered that, in previous rulings I have seen, demons are assumed to be male unless specifically noted female. I put two and two together and realized that the card technically allowed you to convert male demons if played on a gold female. Curious now, I read the abilities of some orange demons and checked to see if they would still apply if converted. KoT says:"Negate all special abilities on Characters and Enhancements (except this special ability)."So a good King of Tyrus would still be functional? How about Prince of this World?:"Immune to lone Heroes."Obviously, this wouldn't be of any use as a hero, since it specifically grants immunity to Heroes. The most interesting one I've considered so far is Evil Spawn:"Reveal the bottom card of draw pile. If it is an evil card, take it into hand or add it to the battle."So you could add an evil card to your hand, or add it to the battle? Since Evil Spawn would be a hero in this case, would the latter option add the Evil card to the opposite side?To sum it up, I have one basic question: Can a demon be chosen as the Evil Character who becomes a hero because of Sanctifying Faith? Okay, thanks for in advance to those who comment!

The same way you are supposed to know that Bill Voigt is the reigning Redemption straw-shooting champion.
