Can WC enhs still switch characters?

Yes, weapons can switch holders during battle.
I know this USED to be the case.  However, with the new rule that WC enhs always follow the character that they are placed on, I'm not sure that this is still correct.  If a hero comes into battle with a WC GE already on them (from territory), and is banded to another hero, then I think it makes more sense that the WC GE would be discarded with the first hero assuming they were Christian Martyr'd.

Thoughts?

I never agreed with this in the first place because it should be like if a placer is on someone it can't be switched. I really don't see the difference.

What's the insert say?   ::)

But seriously, this is also part of my discussion thread regarding activation of pending abilities on cards no longer in play.  Do I have thoughts?  Pfft, I ALWAYS have thoughts.  :D   But I'll wait until I get home, read the insert, rulebook, REG, and other threads before I offer my thoughts.

Mark stumbled over a body as he gazed at the war-torn field in front of him. There was only one enemy in front of him, a few hundred yards off, but he was weaponless. Glancing down, he noticed the body was that of his friend, who was in the same band as him ("The Heroes"). He noticed that, clutched in the hand of his friend, a Warrior's Spear lied. Bending, he attempted to relieve the spear from the hand of his friend, but found that it was gripped too tightly, and he was unable to retrieve it. After several hours of this, he realized that the laws of physics prevented him from transferring the weapon to himself.

Something is wrong here.

The question here is whether the rule about weapons following their hosts or the rule about enhancements transferring mid-battle is dominant. Bear in mind, Weapons are not Placed cards, so the rulings on placed cards are irrelevant. Since there are two equally valid rules vying for the fate of the weapon, I would say we go with the status quo (enhancements transferring is dominant over weapons following bearer) until and unless the ruling is changed.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!
