John 1:12 says "Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God"
Jesus was also referred to as the "Son of God", in fact our very own Redemption does so as well. He was also called the "King of Kings" in Revelation 17:14.

Wikipedia tells me that "King of Kings is a lofty title often bestowed upon monarchs", thus indicating that Jesus was royalty. Now, we may not be kings, but we are descended from the same Father (as long as we've accepted Him), therefore, we are a member of His royal family which includes everyone from His disciples to those who accepted Him into their life just today.

The practical upshot of this is: given this evidence, can I play Royal Parade on my disciples and have them ITB and ignore?

I believe that a member of a royal family in Redemption has been defined as a member of an earthlty monarchy, not a spiritual one. I am going to go spelunking for the confirmation now.

Royalty in Redemption is defined as earthly royalty.

Best I could find is here. There is also the whole thread on whether KoT was a King, but that didn't really define royal family.

Well, both of Jesus's earthly parents were direct descendants of King David, thus on some level He(they) was/were a royal(s), but the lineage was so long that the bloodline was very thin so to speak. Not everything in Redemption is 100% scripturally accurate with the abilities because if it was, some cards would be way OP'd and broken. At least, that's how I see it sometimes.

Are you saying Jesus didn't physically exist? I should at least be able to play it on James, Half-brother of Jesus.

Jesus specifically pointed out on many, many occasions that he did not come as an Earthly King. Joseph was a direct descendant of David, but at the time Joseph was born the Line of David was no longer the ruling dynasty in Judea.
