Can SoG rescue the N.T. Ls, He  is not a hero.

The old one can not rescue the NT lost soul.
 
The New one in the latest starter decks with the special ability, "negate lost souls," can.

So does that mean that the new SoG negates the special ability on all Ls?

Depends on what you mean. Son of God can negate the special ability of any non-CBN Lost Soul (and there are only 2, I think, that are CBN) but it only negates the Lost Soul it's rescuing, not any other Souls.

Soul seeker's comment is not entirely right. The correct special ability for the new Son of God is: "Negate and rescue a Lost Soul."

CBN stands for "cannot be negated."

The 2/3-liner Lost Souls (that must be rescued twice) have received erratas to be CBN, and the Lost Soul that says "Unless a Covenant is in play, the first evil enhancement you play cannot be prevented" is also considered CBN.
