"End the Battle"

Hello all,

There are some cards, and their names escape me right now, that say to do something (like everyone in battle gaining 4 toughness) and then "end the battle".  I think most of these are evil enhancements.  Anyway, I'm wondering if we have been playing them right.

We have been playing these that you still have to add up numbers and see if anyone has died (by the numbers).  Is this correct, or does the battle end and no one ever dies and no lost sould can be rescued no matter what?

For example, if you attack with Gabriel 10/10, and I block with a 1/1, I always thought it was pointless for me to play that card because even with 4 more toughness I will still die at the end of the battle.  But now I'm not so sure.

I already use these cards in my decks, but if the latter is true then it makes these cards even more of an asset in any deck than I first thought.

Thanks for your help.

End the battle means no more enhancements can be played and adding up number commences as normal.

It is pointless to play a end the battle card when you are 1/5 and your opponent is 10/10.

Thanks.  Sounds like we were playing it right all along.

Unless, perhaps, you played Confusion and Sin in the Camp and such before playing the battle-ender to guarantee they can't negate them.

right.  I just meant winning the battle wise.  But yes, end the battle can be used for many evil strategies. ;)
