David's Harp
Following a rescue attempt holder may select one Hero that is about to be discarded and place Hero on top of owner's draw pile.  Prevent Evil Spirit.

1. Can I save my opponent's Hero following their rescue attempt (for example, if it has my placed card on it that I want to stay in play)?

2. Can I save my partner's Hero following their rescue attempt?

If either of these is no, please explain why.

Both of those options are legal. However, your placed card will go on top of your deck, not stay in play, to be technical.
Press 1 for more options.

You are technically correct, but I'd still have access to the card to place again (which is what I'd want in the aforementioned scenario). Thanks for the confirmation. :)
