Mimicking miracles scenario

Just a random question. MM defaults to play I believe so what would happen if MM copied a Haman's Plot in Storehouse? I'm just confused if you would have to do the tear it or offer it to opponent part. I assume yes but it just seems like a random scenario.

You would have to tear mimicking miracles if you wanted to do the discard since it would copy the whole ability and would be "this card."

So, because MM is gold/pale green, and you are copying a brown card, wouldn't you need to play it on a brown character?

No because mimicking miracles copies the special ability not the whole card.
