I had mentioned in another thread about using Abel's Sacrifice on Altar of Burnt Offering.  Looks like there's some gray area that needs clarification.  In the definition, "altar" is not capitalized.  I would translate that as any official altar.  There are many offerings that are mentioned prior to the time Moses lays out the details of the law for the altar.  In most everything I have researched it is generally accepted that offerings from Abel up to the time of Moses were performed on an altar.

The new REG needs to clarify the definition of offering and altar.

Plus the fact that Burnt Offering, Fellowship Offering, First Fruits, Grain Offering, Guilt Offering, Scapegoat, and Sin Offering are all the actual offerings.  Burning Incense is the act of doing the offering. I had a deck using this theme, and got away with it for awhile... until people thought it was to powerful and began questioning.
