need a ruling

If I block with a Fallen Warrior a rescue attempt, and play Wrath of Satan and wipe out all of my opponents heroes that are in play, does my Fallen Warrior receive all the numbers from just those in battle? or from all of my opponents heroes even those in play (not battle)?

Please advise.

Fallen Warrior gains for each Hero he "successfully blocks." You can only block a Hero if they are in battle. As such, Fallen Warrior playing Wrath of Satan would only gain the abilities of Heroes discarded from battle.
