Title: Banding question

i was just reading up on The Deck and saw the idea of Jacob-->AutO-->Moses, but Moses didn't kick Jacob out of battle.

Now I'm looking for confirmation/correction on why this is so and my theory is this:

Jacob started the battle and thus can't be kicked out. And Moses can't kick himself out of battle by negating Jacob's band to AutO because this would indirectly negate the exchange which is CBN.

Am I anywhere close to the correct reasoning?
