Title: banding question (LIVE GAME)

If I'm being attacked by

Simeon Wa, Jacob, Sereph, Daniel, Michael (ki)

And I block with

(Gold) Herod the Great do they all have to go back even though sereph and daniel cannot be negated?

Simeon, Daniel and michael stay, if Daniel and serepoh's bands are CBN

Herod the great returns all but one, and the person who controls the Herod the Great chooses which hero remains.  The return does not negate the band, so the CBN status of seraph and daniel are irrelevant
