Title: Banding in Levi

Okay, here's the scenario: I make a rescue attempt with a blue Genesis hero.My opponent blocks with a brown EC and plays Land Purchase to search his deck for a site to put his only available Lost Soul in. He is now losing. Am I able to play Numerous as the Stars to search for Levi and band him into battle (Levi's SA gives him access to any site), or does the rescue immediately become a battle challenge when my opponent puts the Lost Soul in a site? In other words, are you able to turn a BC back into a RA without using a negate?

I would think you can go back to a RA. See Hur in Type 1.

Even if I don't have initiative at the time I play Numerous?

If you have no init, you have no init. You can't play anything (even a negate) without init.

Yeah, you failed to specify the lack of initiative beforehand.

Sorry, I just added that later. In the original post, I didn't even think about initiative....I was kind of thinking of a rescue with Benny blocked by Jeering Youths.

In the ben vs jeering youths, you can band in Levi and gain access.
