Random Question about a "Place on Lost Soul" card and a battle outcome

If I play an evil enhancement that says "Place this card on a lost soul... This soul cannot be rescued by an Angel" and an Angel is involved in the rescue attempt but is also then banded to a non angel who still has access to the site, is the enhancement card rendered useless? I assume that the Angel still has effect in determining the outcome of the battle correct?

The Lost Soul can still be rescued by a human banded to an Angel. A similar situation is an O.T. Hero banded to an N.T. Hero can still rescue the N.T. Only Lost Soul, similar with a male/female band to rescue the Female Only Lost Soul. In all of those cases, the Angel/O.T./Male Hero is not actually rescuing the soul, they are just assisting the Hero who does have access in their rescue.
