He might be referring to the fact that at one point the Enhancement went to hand instead of being shuffled.

It could be worse; at one point it said "NT Enhancement" and people were able to infinitely recur Striking Herod.

Yeah, that would be crazy,

That was actually a really early version of his ability, you had to choose two N.T.'s from your discard pile, your opponent picked one to discard, and the other went below your deck.
