OK,
Trap of the devil is up in defender's territory.
Blue Heroes rescue with big numbers (20/20)
Small black Evil character blocks and is losing, so he plays a discard enhancement (wrath o satan) to kill the heroes.
Can the heroes play abes servant to ur to negate the discard from wrath o satan?
Or would trap o the devil stop abes serv to ur from working since it can't prevent wrath?

Wrath of Satan
Type: Evil Enh. • Brigade: Black • Ability: None • Class: None • Special Ability: Discard all Heroes in play.

Abraham’s Servant to Ur
Type: Hero Enh. • Brigade: Blue • Ability: 2 / 3 • Class: None • Special Ability: All special abilities except banding on characters and enhancements, except this one, are negated. Battle is determined by the numbers.

The Trap of the Devil
Type: Fortress • Brigade: Multicolor • Ability: None • Class: None • Special Ability: If the total strength of good cards in battle is 14/* or greater, special abilities on your evil cards cannot be prevented by good cards. •

Wrath can be interrupted by Abe's Servant. Trap means that nothing played before Wrath can stop it, but something played after Wrath can.

Cool-thanks.
I guess I just get confused by the way a negate is supposed to interrupt and prevent, so because trap was up I thought the prevent part would not work.

This is a problem that comes up from time to time, especially when interpreting complex situations. Basically, you and I both know how a negate card works. However, it doesn't exactly = interrupt + prevent. The definitions and relationships of interrupt, prevent, and negate have been struggling to be solidified since the warrior's expansion. The wording for the most part is standardized now though.
