Two easy questions

My son and I just finished a game and I was too brain-fried to remember the rulings on these two scenarios:

1. Does I am Justice activate if the hero is discarded by the numbers? We voted yes.

2. a. My son RA with Elhanan.
    b. I block with Huge Eqyptian holding Egyptian Spear.
    c. My son discards two cards from draw pile.
    d. My son has initiative and plays Words of Encouragement.
Does the interrupt cause the two discarded cards to return to draw pile and become two of the three that he draws with WoE? If so, does he then discard the next two cards when the interrupt ends? We voted yes to both.

1: If you choose to activate it. Yes, Remember it says may.

2: Yes AND No. It does ITB huge e's spear. It does NOT itb huge E.
Itb Interrupts Ongoing abilities (huge E completed), Battle winners, and the last enh played by an OPP.

After three successive blocks by Huge Egyptian and his Spear, my son definitely wanted to use it.  ;)

Ah yes, forgot about that little detail. Rats! He got back his Pillar of Fire, too.

As a side note, my son was particularly tickled that huge Egyptian discarded his Enoch.  ;D

So, for my own clarification: after Words was played, the second card that was discarded (by Egyptian Spear) goes back to the draw pile and then gets drawn by Words. After the special ability completes on Words, assuming the next GE played doesn't cause Huge Egyptian's removal, does the next card in the opponent's deck get discarded? So, Egyptian Spear was interrupted, so the victim card goes back, but when the interrupt ends would Egyptian Spear reactivate or just fizzle?

It should just reactivate after the interrupt. The most common use of interrupt is to stop battle winners that are instant abilities (i.e. capture, discard), but interrupt is only a temporary solution if you can't get rid of the character or enhancement that is using the SA. Otherwise, the battle winner will still do its thing after the interrupt.
