David's Sin SA: Take an opponent's female human to territory for 3 turns. You may negate opponent's male Hero and choose it to attack.

Example:

Player A has David and Deborah in territory.
 
Player A goes for a RA with  Deborah.

Then Player B blocks with a brown Evil character and plays David's Sin.
 
Question:  If David's Sin takes Deborah in battle , does Deborah gain special initiative?

( I would assume yes only because the choose the attacker special ability is optional and not mandatory but not 100% sure)
