If my opponent has shield of faith on a character  and I attack with rebellious spirit and d/c shield, does the protection go away?

Yes, because the ":" means that the protection lasts while the AoG remains placed on the hero.

Okay, I just played a game where my opponent had an blinding light Paul with 4 different armors and I was freaking out but I played rebellious spirit to d/c helmet and used CM lol
