This was posted in another topic/board, so I thought I'd put it in the right place. Does Hezekiah's signet ring stop search-like abilities, such as philistine armorbearer, or chariot of fire. Or just cards that literally have the word search on them? I was under the impression that anything that caused you to actually look through your deck or discard was considered a search. Clarification would be awesome. x.x

It's only a prevent. so any card that says "Cannot be prevented" or "cannot be negated" on it is unaffected but Hez's Signet Ring

So Philistine Armor Bearer would still go through. If it was a protect then Harvest time wouldn't work either. You cannot negate dominants which is why HT works on Hezzy' Ring
