Thinking big picture, if we did that, how many other cards would need to be made gender neutral if these were set as a precedent?Personally, I am against change "just cuz."
FS is probably male because the original version (you know, the useless green 4/4 version in the blue packs?) had a male in the picture.
I vote we don't change it so I can still have my Claudia band to FSP...
Faithful Servant is referring to a male character in a parable. Yes we are all called to be "faithful servants" but that's not what the card is referring to. It is referring to a specific servant that was faithful and was male.
If it's referring to a specific character, shouldn't it be unique?

Hey, The gender of these cards isn't going to change. Gender is determined based on Biblical reference, not based on artwork.Faithful Servant is referring to a male character in a parable. It is referring to a specific servant that was faithful and was male.Priests of Christ is referring to a group of Christians. It's not a group of male Christians and it's not a group of female Christians, it's just a group of Christians. There is no biblical evidence to support the group being one gender or the other, so it is treated as gender not specified.Seeker of the Lost...is special. But it has been brought up before and TPTB made it clear that they do not intend to change the gender of Seeker of the Lost.Tschow,Tim "Sir Nobody" Maly
I change rulings to hurt Justin, Tim or Gil's decks.
...and not only that but all three of these cards happen to be in my current T1 deck and I like they way they work as male, female and neutral respectively. So no, I am not changing them. You people should know by now that I don't change rulings to hurt my decks. I change rulings to hurt Justin, Tim or Gil's decks.

P.S. Remember that Soldier of God and Seeker of the Lost were requested and funded by The Salvation Army to promote their ministry. Soldier of God is inspired by William Booth - founder of The Salvation Army. Following Soldier of God, The Salvation Army wanted their second card inspired by Mrs. Booth who worked along side her husband. This card became Seeker of the Lost. This is one reason the card is ruled female.
I [keep the rule the same] and Prince Humperdinck suffers? Now that's a noble cause!
