Title: Another Golgotha Question
Post by: adotson85 on January 13, 2011, 01:44:29 AM
If an evil enhancement is placed on golgotha and the enhancement is somehow removed by your opponent, does Golgotha still stop your evil characters from being ignored. I am pretty sure Golgotha still works, but just wanting to make sure.

Golgotha (Di)
Type: Site • Brigade: White • Ability: None • Class: None • Special Ability: Anytime during battle, you may place a skull icon card from hand or discard pile on Golgotha: N.T. characters of that brigade cannot be ignored. Return that card to its previous location at end of turn. • Identifiers: Jew • Verse: Matthew 27:33

No, it only stops the ignore while the Enhancement is there. But you can just put it back since Golgotha can be used as many times as you want per turn.

lies theres no while this card remains wording so golgotha is a triggered ongoing ability even if the trigger is removed you can't unfire the cannon stick to deckbuilding and stop trying to be a judge pol

Actually Pol is correct it was ruled that cards like Golgotha and others that have a special ability constructed like "while some condition : do this" are only active if the first half is met.  In this case once the EE is removed, the CBI ability ceases.  Golgotha is not a triggered ability.

Pol and Korunks are right.  CG25, you need to tone it down this morning.

wait, can you place multiple evil enhancements on Golgotha?  IT is says anytime, what is to stop me from placing 8 EE on Golgotha?  for instance what if I band in two EC's of different brigade, could i put 2 EE's one for each on Golgotha to let them band?

No. I believe it was errata'd to hold a maximum of one enhancement.

because of plays like:

Crustpope attacks. Clift blocks and places Words of Discouragement x5, Sin in the Camp x5 on Golgotha. Clift has initiative and plays Death of Unrightousness.
