Welcome to the Official Redemption® Message Board!
The interruption only lasts for the duration of SWS's ability's umbrella. Characters may only enter battle once per (turn? phase?) so you can't swap SWS around. What you can do is Interrupt WoP, exchange with a bander, and then band to your opponents' cards until the chain ends because SWS has not completed until the character he exchanged for's ability has completed.
ok, cool. only remaining question is....can 7WS exchange with KOT?

ok.what if you exchange 7WS with your opponents 7 sons of sceva, and exchange their 7 sons of sceva with the kot in your discard pile?
but it can't be targeted since it's out of play though

Sapphira doesn't kick herself back out of battle if banded in by Ananias because Ananias is CBN. KoT does kick itself out of battle because 7WS (or old Gomer) is not CBN.

KoT would not try to negate SWS because he's not in battle.
