Angry Travelers - Pale Green Enhancement - Place this card on a Lost Soul.  If that Lost Soul is not rescued by the end of the current player’s next turn, discard this card to return the Lost Soul to the bottom of owner’s draw pile.

Lost Souls (3-liner) - This card counts as two Lost Souls.  This card counts as two Lost Souls.  It must be rescued twice by the same player to count.

Just outta curiosity, if Angry Travelers was placed on the Lost Souls card, would someone have to rescue both halves or just one? I'd say both because of the last line. "It must be rescued twice by the same player to count."
 

Since Lost Souls must be "rescued twice," then it must be "rescued once" first, right? I would think that half-rescuing Lost Souls would clear out Angry Travelers.

I asked a similar question regarding successful rescue attempts and was told that the first time the 2- or 3-liner is "rescued" it is indeed considered a rescue.  The Schaef and a couple other people say so in this post.

I sure was disappointed.  2-liner + All Hope Lost would have been a cool combo if the first "rescue" didn't count as a successful rescue.
