Placed enhancements in set-aside?

Anyone recall the ruling on placed enhancements being in/active if they are set aside?

For example, if Self-Control is placed on my Hero who is then set-aside, is Self-Control still active?

Have you checked the REG?
Have you looked it up in ORCID?

I don't see why they wouldn't be. There are plenty of cards that are active in set aside (Fortresses, for example). As long as the card was already active before being set aside I'd say it would stay active (so setting aside with Water Jar wouldn't randomly activate any of the cards).

Not 100% sure, though.

If it was already active, unless it is required to be in play due to the wording of the card/ability, it still works.

Self-Control requires that it is placed on a Clay or Teal hero to work.  Even if that character is set-aside, it still follows, it is still placed, so it still works.

I think this was ruled with things like Charms.
