I've ALWAYS had this confused. So someone help me out haha
Angels, can they be
A)converted
B)rescued
Demons,can they be
A)converted
B)rescued
I know Angelic rebellion for 1A but the wording had me somewhat confused
One angel (excluding Michael Captain of the Host and Gabriel) "falls" and becomes a Crimson evil character
-
The answer to all of those questions is no they cannot... except in the case of Angelic Rebellion which can convert an Angel (with a few exceptions) to an evil character.
-
Thanks! Wasn't sure.if it was just the one specific case or not.
-
For the demons, I do not think that there are any cards that convert them, but if there is one, it works. Captured demons cannot be rescued. They are captured demons, not lost souls.
-
Any character can be converted, as long as the card can target them. The vast majority of convert cards specify humans.
-
From the REG's default conditions for Convert:
A convert ability only targets humans unless a specific non-human target is specified.
-
I could be wrong but I believe the only card that converts a non-human at this moment is Angelic Rebellion from the Apostles set.

That seems like a silly default if all convert cards specify the target. Are there any convert cards that do not specify "human" or a "specific non-human" target?

Love is the first one to mind, but I doubt it is the only one. That's why we have default conditions :)

So you couldn't use Love on a demon? That's lame!

Sanctifying Faith does not specify human in the original ability (though it does in the errata/play-as).
