Does he have a special ability? I assume that it is actually an identifier, and thus works with WoNL.

A separate question, does he keep gained abilities (*/*) in addition to his printed ability? For instance, if I set him aside with chastisement of the lord, when he returns do his numbers reset to the number of silver heroes in play?

Angel with the Secret Name does not have a special ability.

If he is set-aside and gains say 6/6, then his abilities are (* + 6) / (* + 6) so his abilities can still change, but they will be six greater than they were before.

Only if you convert him via Angelic Rebellion or something could he be 0/0. Just like converting Silly Women to a Hero.
