Angel of Deliverance...almost awesome?

Angel of Deliverance:
"Hero has access to any site.  Any guards on the site are immediately prevented and discarded.  If Hero wins, Holder may return any Hero held captive at the site to player's territory or count as a redeemed soul."

Question:
Okay, so i thought of an abstract situation where this SA might actually be useful...

I have a captured hero in my opponents land of bondage that is in a site with the lost soul site doubler. Jacob's ladder is activated in my territory and I make a successful rescue attempt at that site, and choose to rescue the lost soul site doubler... could I also choose to redeem the hero placed in that site using AoD's s/a (If Hero wins, Holder may return any Hero held captive at the site to player's territory or count as a redeemed soul.)? and make a "two-for-one" rescue attempt? ???

Shouldn't "access to any site" mean you choose 1 site to which you have access, as opposed to "access to all sites"?

I think the third sentence is Jacob's Ladder-ish - the rescuer chooses a captured hero (if applicable) and then chooses to rescue it or return it to their territory.  If you do that, the defender doesn't choose a LS to give you.

The usefulness of this card has a good chance of improving for other reasons also.

Related question...

If I play Primary Objective on Angel of Deliverance, and it's successful, could I still use Angel of Deliverance's ability to grab a captured hero and count it as a redeemed soul since AoD doesn't specify that he has to win a Rescue Attempt?

Primary ObjectiveType: Hero Enh. • Brigade: Silver • Ability: 3 / 0 • Class: None • Special Ability: If making a rescue attempt, discard hand (minimum 7 cards) and select a lost soul in opponent's Land of Bondage. Opponent must discard hand or holder rescues that lost soul. Battle continues as a battle challenge.

No, because the battle is specified as a battle challenge.  You cannot rescue from a battle challenge.  I would say you could still liberate the captured Hero, though.
