I don't see why not.  An errata would be needed otherwise.

Yes. I built a deck two years ago that was built around a similar combo, and it was ruled legal by at least two of the PTB.

My deck at Nationals used this method to put Two Thousand Horses and Naaman's Chariots and Horses on various heroes so that I could play enhancements before being blocked. It's been ruled legal on numerous occasions.

That works? What about the rule that no hero can ever use an evil enhancement, unless stated otherwise? It just changes the brigade, not the type of enhancement.

It converts it. Conversion can be from evil to good.

It only says to convert the brigade, though, not the TYPE of enhancement. Didn't know that was legal...

That's because the brigades in Redemption are not independent of the Evil/Good status. So if you convert a Pale Green Evil Enhancement to Teal you don't get a Teal Evil Enhancement you get a Teal Good Enhancement because Teal is only a Good brigade.

What happens when you convert the brigade of an Evil Character to white with seventh trumpet?

If a character holding a weapon is converted then the weapon is converted along with them.
May you prosper greatly!

You mean when you convert to a "white brigade HERO" as the card specifically states?

That's because the brigades in Redemption are not independent of the Evil/Good status.

According to the Battle Prayer ruling, they are.

And yet again, Schaef leaves us pondering, but without any solid answers. ;)

Personally, I think this combo is both legal and...SUPER-SPECIAL-AWESOME!!!

Schaef is just being his lovely, argumentative self because the examples given don't necessarily prove anything.   ;)

Ahimelech can convert evil weapons so that a Hero can use it.  Bryon has stated this in the past.  Besides the reasons previously given about conversion by others he also brought up the fact that it's Biblically accurate to do so.  Ahimelech's ability is based on the passage where he gives David (a Hero) Goliath's Sword (an evil weapon).  Go read the story, it's a good one.  :)

Ok what if you use this card to play an evil gold weapon on a good gold hero ;) The brigade is technically the same color ;) (I'm kidding see ;))

That's because the brigades in Redemption are not independent of the Evil/Good status.

According to the Battle Prayer ruling, they are.

I've always thought of the Gold good brigade as a different brigade than the gold evil brigade even though they have the same color. So Battle prayer is really saying to get a gold evil brigade enhancement or a gold good brigade enhancement. Two different brigades, they just chose the same color to represent themselves. Kinda like two countries that used the same colors for their flag; different countries, same colors.

But the point is that it doesn't say either/or.  It says one thing: get a gold Enhancement.

Either way, I don't know why Bubble et al are looking for solid answers from me; a bunch of other people have already confirmed what the ruling is for this issue.

You can't, because you can't convert a card to the brigade it already is, and you can't play evil enhancements on heroes.
