How to PlayA toss ability allows a player to play an enhancement in a different way than usual; instead of activating the numbers or special abilities of the enhancement, the enhancement is discarded to decrease an opposing character by X/X (where X is the strength of the discarded enhancement), regardless of protection or immunity.A toss ability targets the enhancements that would be played.A toss ability is ongoing.

Do you have a specific scenario that is affected by whether Toss is a decrease ability or not?
Can a toss ability be negated or prevented?
It sounds like cards like Colosseum target enhancement by tossing cards in order to decrease the opposing character. Maybe I'm reading this wrong but that's what it sounds like to me.When that happens if it decreases the opposing character enough then the opposing character is discarded regardless of immunity or protection.Because a toss is ongoingSo yes I believe that a toss is a decrease ability in some sort of way
