You mean back when we were using a house rule that made it broken.
You're right about it being more of a house rule.  However, it was only broken until we added the rule that you can't use a non-CTB card to create a CTB situation.  It was easily fixed, and everyone moved on.  And the card was still a lot of fun to play, until TEAMS became official and we understandably had to get rid of house rules.  Now Doubt will go back into everyone's trade binders :)

i don;t think it even goes into trade binders.   I think it just goes into the box with all the state promos that you feel bad  giving away but will never see the light of day.

I am surprised at all these people that don't use Doubt to thwart TGT.

If you have one orange EC in territory and they try to TGT you, can you put down another orange EC and then be allowed to block?

orange does perfectly fine against tgt by itself without doubt.

According to the people here, apparently nothing does perfectly fine against tgt with anything ever.

Hey,

I've also found that Doubt is the perfect (and really only) answer to a Priests of Christ that attacks you on the first turn of the game.

Actually Orange (especially with GoH) is really good against TGT.  It's just that most people don't like to play Orange :)

+1 I'd take a CM over Doubt any day to stop PoC 1st turn.

Good call.  That would also be better :)

By the way, I did find it ironic that after talking to you at MW Regionals about how Mayhem had more limited playability than you thought, I got it in my TexP pack of Booster Draft, and ended up winning the tournament because of that card.  At least that pie on my face was cherry and was yummy :)

It seems that MW Regionals  was the tournament for eating our own words...

I'd been telling Jonathan why he needed to take a "weak" card out of his deck to put in something more useful.  During our game he played that card for #s vs. my KoT to win the battle.  We both laughed but it was bitter sweet.  :)

I have found Mayhem to be much more valuable than Grapes of Wrath, which I find ironic since Grapes was the preferred card for traders after TexP came out.

Mayhem's been my favorite from the beginning, but Grapes was much harder to get...

Mayhem. a card that is fun AND good. best card ever printed? perhaps.

I've been saying that about Mayhem for a while. Everyone was screaming over grapes, a card which I have found to be mediocre (I use it in maybe 50% of my decks). Mayhem goes in every deck, period.

Oh well. I'm actually glad about that, beings that allowed me to snag a few cheap Mayhems when TXP came out for a VERY good price (I'll never complain about getting something that awesome for 2 FOOF cards :D)

Grapes goes in every deck I make because its the single best defensive dominant ever.

but you have to have an evil card in battle.  It's not always the best.

The reason I don't use Orange is that it doesn't work on RTS.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!
