Apparently no one read the errata I posted in the errata thread 2 days ago:
http://www.cactusgamedesign.com/message_boards/index.php?topic=24.0

It agrees with Tim's suggestion.  It happens after the battle phase but before the new turn.  That must be the discard phase.

Haha I know seriously. Without recursion of A New Beginning though... Redemption has lost its meaning.

Oh, I was still going by the one you posted on the ANB thread.  "Unread Posts" doesn't alert me to edited posts.

I'm not sure why anyone would want to play with A New-tered Beginning anymore.   :-\

Nah, it wouldn't have been that bad, I can't recur ANB anymore, so yeah.

You have to remove it to do anything, so it won't work.  BotLaw doesn't work with Scapegoat either.

Bryon hit the nail on the head, BotLaw was my backup plan for the Errata, I was hoping they would word it more like older gen non-cost cards ;)

The funny thing to me is that the change doesn't effect my prophet deck at all.  I never really thought about reaccuring a card that has a potential of causing you to draw a bunch of lost souls and no characters.

I didn't even WANT to recur the card, but the errata was extended to ruin my far-from-being-broken combo, too.  Maybe this errata would work even better:

A New Beginning - If making a rescue attempt for Noah, Noah's Sons, or some animal, remove this card from the game by tieing a rock to it and letting it sink to the bottom of some body of water in order to shuffle all cards in play, set aside areas, and hands into decks.  End the battle.  All players draw 8.  End the turn.  Begin a new turn.

I'm always for cards that relate well to the stories in the Bible.   ;)
Final ANB errata: Return player to game.

I just got back from the funeral, there was quite a lot of sadness in the air, with many players shedding tears for their lost friend. Before I left, I took a picture of the grave to keep the memories alive. I thought I'd share it with you guys too.
