I finally gave in and am looking at making my own version of a T2 ANB deck. In doing so I came across a question. If I have thorns LS and Pigs LS out and play ANB what happens?

A New Beginning (Pa)
Type: Hero Enh. • Brigade: Green • Ability: 4 / 5 • Class: None • Special Ability: ALL players shuffle ALL cards in the field of play, set-aside areas and their hands back into their draw pile. Only cards in Land of Redemption and discard piles remain. ALL players Draw 8 new cards. Holder may begin a new turn. • Errata: If making a rescue attempt, remove this card from the game to shuffle [return] all cards in play, set aside areas, and hands into decks. End the battle. All players draw 8. End the turn. Begin a new turn. • Identifiers: None • Verse: Genesis 8:15-17

Thorns LS- while this card is in play protect each lost soul in play from being shuffled, placed under draw pile, or exchanged.

Pigs LS- Prevent all draw abilities, except on Heroes.

LS are not shuffled.  It looks to me like no one gets to draw.

The reason I am asking is because it seems both players have zero cards in hand when the new turn begins. So I draw 3 and if one is a hero I get a free lost soul

Crown of thorns is shuffled therefore the lost soul is shuffled. or at least i think.

It's probably moot based on the consequences of what happens at the MN Type 2 Only Blowout, but let's just all be careful what is revealed in this thread.

Preferably, I'd like to change the title to something like "Trivial question; PTB likely not needed".

Type: Hero Enh. • Brigade: Green • Ability: 0 / 0 • Class: Weapon • Special Ability: Negate all special abilities on cards that have confusing, unwieldy abilities and have been the topic of threads at least 3 pages in length. Cannot be negated by someone who owns a copy of Split Altar, ANB, or by a playtester.
