Does "Remove all from ... besides ..." count as search?

Hi altogether,

as said: Do such abilities also count as search? For example when I play Reverence and Awe and clean opponents DC pile did I then perform a search?

Thank you for clarification

Bye

To add a bit of clarification,

From the REG:

Quote
● A search effect allows a player to view a deck, discard pile, Reserve, banish pile, or Artifact pile to perform an
action with a specific card or set of cards

Reverence and Awe is a search, but it is because it is not actually a 'remove all'.  It is a 'remove all except Heroes and Lost Souls', which makes it a search because you are specifically taking action with 'non-heroes and lost souls'.

In the case of an actual 'remove all' from discard pile (for example on Ashtaroth Worship), it is not a search.

Does The Ends of the Earth (RoJ) SA qualify as a search?
"Reveal the top 7 cards of a deck: Put a Lost Soul into play and add a revealed Bible icon card to its owner's hand."
By the bullet point above, it seemingly could. A deck or X number of cards of a deck are viewed and an action is performed with a specific card or set of cards.
     Just wondering now...

Reveal is its own thing and is separate from search.

so if a card specifically says.. "Look (insert what is to be looked at)... do X,Y or Z with a specific card or set of cards..."  or "Reveal (insert what is to be revealed) do X,Y or Z with a specific card or set of cards..." these don't count as searches although the fit the definition of a search effect as defined here -
From the REG:

action with a specific card or set of cards

Not trying to be difficult, just wanting to get it straight in my head.

Yes that’s right.  If a card specifically uses ‘look’ or ‘reveal’ and then follows up with a paired action it is not a search.
