After you play ANB and draw your eight cards and You Begin a new turn do you get to draw three cards as well because this is a new turn?

Doesn’t ANB cause SI for the blocker?

Looks like it does, with the current definition of SI.

Doesn't make much difference in my case when he played it off of Hidden Treasures.  ;D

If you don't play it this way, you are playing it wrong!  At least until we get that errata or reprint everyone wants.

I can't open ORCID right now, but doesn't the current errata of ANB make it CBI?

I thought since it shuffles your hand simultaneously with the characters and then begins a new turn it was essentially cbi anyway. So yeah I could see it being cbi in an errata.

ANB Errata:
If making a rescue attempt, banish this card to shuffle all cards in play, hands and set-aside areas. If no Heroes are in battle, end the battle, each player must draw 8, and end your turn. If you do, you may begin a new turn.

If SI suspends the shuffle prior to removing the ECs from battle, it should suspend the entire shuffle, including the hand. The end the battle is CBI by rule, but the shuffle is what would cause SI.

Does ANB have to specifically target lost souls in the special ability or does "all cards in play cover it". I know that there has been some change with how targeting lost souls work but I'm not sure on the details.

I agree that ANB's current errata grants SI - it came up in a game within the last year or two and my opponent and I agreed that SI's definition would grant SI for ANB due to the mutual removal clause.

The real question is, what can target ANB in SI?  Because it banishes itself first.  The whole reason I started that other thread about "Suspending the whole ability causing SI" is because it is counterintuitive to undo an entire ability that causes SI when only one part of the ability is actually causing SI.

Plus, the word "Suspend" doesn't mean you go back and undo anything.  When your license gets suspended, it's not like you get cited for your last week of driving because your suspension is retroactive to 7 days ago.  In plain English, suspend means "it stops where it is and goes no further".

Suspend doesn't undo anything because it stops it from happening in the first place. SI isn't caused when your last character is removed its caused when your last character would be removed. As for the question about targeting ANB during SI, as per the rules of SI, any negate or interrupt that can target a good enhancement.
