Title: A few questions
Post by: bballer54 on May 16, 2013, 06:33:44 PM
Heres a few questions that i have.

1. If i play a artifact or curse that cannot be negated, such as confusion of mind, and then someone else plays destruction of nehustan on it, what happens? I think it would still be discarded, but would the ability be negated? or would it just remain active for the remainder of the turn? or until i activate a different artifact?

2. If i am rescuing with a banding chain, such as abishai, asahel, heldia, and ishmaih the gibeonite, and my opponent captures just ONE of them with a capture card (ie net), is it still my iniative by removal even if i am still beating my opponent by the numbers after the hero is captured?

3. see below

thanks!

1. It would be discarded, but it would remain activate for the rest of the phase (unless it states that it lasts until end of turn or a different duration).  Cards that are CBN last until end of phase, by default, even when discarded.

2. There is no SI anymore unless your last character is being removed from the battle.

I also have on more question.
Does holy of holies (prevent all interupt, prevent, and negate abilities on characters, cannot be negated during the battle phase) prevent controlling demon's ability (no heroes may band. return all that have already banded to their territories)? controlling demon's ability does not say that is is negating banding, but essentially, it is. what is the ruling on this?

It is actually not negating the bands, it is is instead a combination of withdraw (sending them back to territory) and a protect (it is targeting heroes, so it is a protect instead of a restrict), protecting all heroes from band abilities.

So no, it does not stop Controlling Demon from Apostles :)
