Alright, I can't remember if this has been answered or not, but can Shobach bear multiple weapons? Imagine him with 2KH and Naaman's CaH. Draw four cards and play two enhancements.

No one can hold multiple weapons, but you could use banding Egyptians or Philistines, for example, that each are holding one. :)

Technically the old Goliath can (the non warrior class, no special ability 10/10 character) if those two weapons are Goliath's Spear and Goliath's Armor, unless this has changed, but that is a special case of two cards that are held like weapons by a non warrior class character.

Either way, Shobach can't hold multiple weapons, since the plurality in his ability doesn't refer to the amount he can hold, but is referring to the group of enhancements called "weapons". They could have said "a weapon" that would have stopped the asking of this question.

In order for an ability to allow multiple weapons it would have to say something like "This character can hold an additional weapon" (this would work well for a place enhancement that allows a character to hold another weapon) or "This character can hold N weapons" where N is some number (This would work for a character ability), or "A character can hold this weapon in addition to another weapon" (This one is obviously a weapon that can be held even if the character already has a weapon)
If you are reading this signature, thank a physicist.

That is still the ruling as far as I am aware, because the enhancements themselves have "hold" abilities that are not using the weapon rules, and therefore each one can individually be held.

And concurring with the consensus (so far) that he cannot hold multiple weapons.  However, prepare for the wave of players who disagree soon...this is has come up in the past.  No Elder has ever ruled that he can hold multiple weapons that I could ever find, but there will those arguments soon :)

There will be no disagreement here. Warrior-Class characters are governed by Warrior-Class rules, which specifically state that the character can hold one weapon outside of battle. The only reason that the original Goliath is an exception is because he is not Warrior-Class.

For those wondering why I say there will be arguments, you can read those same arguments here, since I found the thread.  There were some respected players all on the opposite side of it at that time, and I was the only one arguing the consensus we currently see in this thread.  Hopefully the more recent discussions about what does and does not break game rules will help this ruling, but I agree completely that he cannot hold multiple weapons (see the other thread for more detailed reasoning, not reposting that ;)).
