A few questions

Hello, folks:

I have a few questions.

1) Israelite Archer states that I can discard an evil Warrior-class character in opponent's territory, but then discard Israelite Archer at the end of battle. My question is: If I use the Archer's special ability but my opponent captures him, is he still discarded rather than captured? My reason for asking is because of Enoch, who returns to territory after battle even if he's captured.

2) Korah's Rebellion states, "Interrupt the battle and remove all cards in battle from the game." Does this include Sites that were placed in battle to grant access?

3a) How does Immunity work for iniative? Say I attack with Israelite Archer, and my opponent blocks with Red Dragon (immune to humans). Do we still compare numbers to check immunity, or do I have unlimited immunity since I can't kill or otherwise target his Red Dragon?

3b) Also, Red Dragon cannot be target by any enhancement from my Israelite Archer, except for enhancements that would negate Red Dragon's immunity, correct? But what about cards that target all evil characters, and not Red Dragon specifically? Say I attacked with a purple brigade hero and played Authority of Christ (discard all evil characters in play). Would Red Dragon be discarded by a card that didn't target him specifically?

Thanks!

2) Yes, it does remove sites that were in battle (which is why it's great for site-lock)

3b) As long as Red Dragon is in battle when you play AOC, he is immune to ALL effects that the hero does (unless you interupt his immunity).

1. Enoch does not return to territory if he is captured. The second part of his SA is "clarifying text."
2. Yes, all cards in battle, even access sites.
3a. You still check for initiative, but that will depend on whether Red Dragon's attack is greater than or equal to your hero's defense. You may end up in a stalemate.
3b. Red Dragon can not be targeted since he is immune.

Cool, thanks. I'm actually morphing my blue/brown deck into site lock. On top of Korah's Rebellion, I also have Jacob's Dream. :D

Okay, thanks. I just looked up Enoch in the REG, and I don't think that was the hero. It might have been Elijah, or someone, but in their special ability it says to return them to territory after battle. I was told that hero returns to territory even if captured. Maybe someone can help me out in remembering who the hero is. lol

Well, firstly, Enoch definitely does NOT return to territory if captured. If he loses the battle by the numbers, he is returned to territory in lieu of being discarded. Secondly, because Israelite Archer says to discard "Israelite Archer" after battle instead of discard this hero after battle, then he is discarded after a battle where he is captured. If the SA said discard this hero after battle, then he would not be discarded, as he is no longer a hero.

2) Korah's Rebellion states, "Interrupt the battle and remove all cards in battle from the game." Does this include Sites that were placed in battle to grant access?

Yes. If a Site is used for access, it is in battle.

Immunity basically means that the immune character cannot be harmed by either SA or numbers from a character he is immune to. So when doing numbers calculations, the only two numbers that matter are IA's toughness and Red's strength. If Red's strength is equal to or higher then IA's toughness, IA is outright losing and would be discarded. If Red's strength is less than IA's toughness, then it is a stalemate.

Nope. If an immune character's ability is active, anyone he is immune to cannot defeat him, even with a CBN card such as AoC(P). Everyone else who is not immune, or otherwise protected would die, so all the EC's in your territory are toast (barring some type of protection fort).
Press 1 for more options.

It is Enoch. The REG entry does not have the correct original ability. However, the Errata takes care of that. Again, the second sentence on the card is "clarifying text," not an ability.

Okay, cool. That will be good to know for the future.

1) If you carry out israelite archers text and discard a warrior class evil character in territoy but then he is captured, he is discarded. Becoming a lost soul doesn't negate his text.

2) Sites used for access are in battle, all cards in battle are being removed from the game, therefore the sites get removed from the game along with characters and enhancements.

3a) Look at immunity this way. If your character is immune, his defensive number is infinity. So if you are blocked by red dragon and you are a 7/7 character, it is a stalemate and therefore you get first enhancement because he was the last one to play a card (his EC) even though by numbers if there were no immunity you would be straight up killing him.

3b) If Red dragon is immune to humans, then you cannot harm him whether or not you are specifically targeting him. If you play AoC then every EC except red dragon would be discarded. You would have to interrupt the battle and then play AoC if you want to discard him with AoC. A good combo if you want to do that is play Reach of Desperation where you can interrupt the battle draw three cards and play the next enhancement. Red Dragons immunity is interrupted and if your next enhancement is AoC he is discarded before his immunity begins to take effect again...make sense?
