1. Sleeves are required at all tournaments now, and I also suggest not using just clear-backed sleeves.  First, I find they aren't as protective.  Second, I find that they shuffle with much more difficulty.  Third, it is still very easy to see how recent the card was printed).  Basically, newer sets are with a new process, and are significantly bigger, so you have to sleeve from now on.  They meet the rule requirement, I just recommend something better (Ultra Pro Matte are very good and decently-priced).

Since you are playing Booster, bring additional sleeves unless you want to have to unsleeve your main deck, which is always a pain.

2. Look down in my signature, and click the link there (or click here).  I'll be doing more of these videos after Nationals, but I go into the basics of the game (prevent, interrupt, negate, the 'cannot be' abilities, and special initiative) and some of the more complex ideas (ignore and side-battles).  That will answer those questions in more detail and probably answer some other questions you have, too :)

Okay thanks. I'll have to pick up some sleeves before the tourney. Are these these the ones your talking about? http://bit.ly/1GLi1ao

And I actually bumped into the "Real Rulings" Videos on YouTube a few weeks ago! I watched the one called "PIN" but I didn't understand what it meant at the time.

Those are the sleeves, though I think that is a bit more expensive than I normally see them.  Most comic book/card game stores sell them for 3-4 per pack in my experience, and I find them online for under 3 (though there is shipping and handling).

If you have any questions about Real Rulings, or other rulings, just let us know :)

Unfortunately I do not have any reliable comic stores/hobby shops nearby. (That I know of.) I can take a look around Walmart next time I'm there, but otherwise, it might not be such a bad idea for the $5 Online option. Thanks for your assistance here.  :)

**EDIT** I found some on amazon in many different colors, priced at $7 for 2 Packs, or $4 for 1.

Do you have Amazon Prime to get free shipping? Otherwise, you can use Wal-Mart's "Site to Store" for free shipping.

I used to, but I canceled it.

When I go to order them later on, I'll compare the prices. :)

I've used Wal-Mart's "Site to Store" several times. You can order online, then have them ship it to the store, so you pay nothing for shipping. The products always arrive sooner than they suggest (i.e. "Takes 1-2 weeks for delivery" usually ended up being about 3 business days). If you do go with WM, be sure to check their site thoroughly. I have often found the exact same item with a slightly different title for a cheaper price (LOL at WM). Here is an example (for the King of Tokyo board game):

http://www.walmart.com/ip/45189277?reviews_limit=9&

That's a $10 difference in price.  :o

I've found E-bay to also be a good source for sleeves though mostly for buying in bulk. You just need to be sure you are getting the right size.

Have you checked the REG?
Have you looked it up in ORCID?

Yes, I am aware of the "Site to Store" feature, I used it when buying a Gaming Console because shipping was very expensive. :)

And I'll be sure to check it thoroughly. Thanks for your help!!

Just read something about using your OWN sites for access to an opponent's site? Could someone explain this? Thanks!

If your site is unoccupied, you can add it to battle at any point. Your characters in battle get access to that color site. For example, if you add a purple site to battle, your heroes have access to opponents purple sites. You can also use multi-color sites such as Dragon Raid to gain access to all sites.

Thanks! Another question. If I play a unique character such as Peter, and then my opponent draws and is about to put the same unique character into play, what happens? Thanks again!

Nothing, the rule is one unique character per player, not on the table. Interesting thing that I didn't know recently is that not even captured characters count for that. They're like oral characters.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

Awesome, Thanks Polarius. :)

Can you bring 2 of the same unique character in a deck? What if the deck is over 100 Cards?

The uniqueness of a character does not affect deckbuilding rules.
