Ok, I been playing a few games, trying to wrap my brain around a couple of rules. i was reading in the 3rd gen rules that came with the started pack. I could swear I read that one option you have when going into battle as a hero you can decide to withdraw from battle and everything goes back and your hero is not discarded. Is that still a rule or did I miss something?

Second question, I have say a Red Brigade hero, and the enhancement card I have allows me to take the hero out of play, put in my set-aside area. Do I have to put him in battle first? then when he enters battle, I then put the enhancement on him? Do I finish battle or immediately withdraw and put him into the set-aside area? Or do you play the enhancement on the hero before battle, move him to the set-aside area then you can battle with a different hero? Hope that all makes sense.

Welcome!

1. Some heroes, such as Spy and Rhoda, have this type of ability, and a couple enhancements allow a hero to withdraw unharmed, but no rule allows just any hero to withdraw this way.

2. Set aside enhancement can be played on a hero outside battle, but only during prep phrase or discard phase. They can still be played during battle like normal, but set the hero aside immediately (not after battle).

Playing a set-aside enhancement outside of battle has no bearing on what hero you can use during battle, except that heroes in set aside cannot enter battle from set aside.

Thanks for the fast response.

Loving the game so far. Just I really suck at making a deck, lol!

don't worry, you found the fourm and thats a great start. This game takes a good bit of time to get really good at it but it's very fun and will be well worth your time

and I agree with SK, about the answers to your questions
The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.
