This came up in a tourney yesterday and I want to verify if I ruled it correctly.
Rescuer put Kindness on his hero two turns prior and announced on this turn, during his upkeep, he wanted to be immune to brown. He entered battle with the hero with Kindness on him and was blocked by a brown EC. The EC had inish due to the numbers. The defender played Achin's Sin "Negate and discard the last good card played this battle. Discard all cards in battle" and wanted to target Kindness to negate the immunity and discard all cards in battle as a result. The rescuer objected to this.
I ruled that due to the specific wording on Achin's Sin, Kindness was not the last good card PLAYED in battle since it had already been played in territory two turns prior and its immune ability activated in the rescuer's prep phase, and the immune ability was an on-going ability that began in prep phase, not in battle; therefore, Kindness was not a valid target for AS and thus could not discard the hero or Kindness, but AS could discard the EC and itself.
Did I rule this correctly? Same scenario if it was Bad Dealings ("Negate and discard the last good enh played this battle. You may draw 1.") that was played instead.
