bartholemew makes a rescue attempt and is blocked by goliath which bounces bart back to territory. are disciples still protected from conversion and capture through the battle phase if bart is not in the field of battle?

No disciples can be captured because Bart's ability was not negated.

Goliath doesn't negate Bart's protection, so it remains in effect until the end of the battle unless you play a separate ability that negates hero abilities (or negates protection) or interrupts the protection.

Yeah because Goliath doesn't attempt to negate his ability, he is just withdrawn. It isn't like TFG kicking out a banded hero and indirectly negated his ability.

That's the funny thing about Goliath. He actually allows you to use cool abilties on your heroes first, then you can bring in someone else for battle. Amasai the Raider is giggling.

Well after a single tournament, Amasi would be giggling at Goliath anyway because he's in a deck with Red brigade.

Well.... Without super sarcasm, I don't think that they're OP by any means, but they're certainly not basement dwellers anymore either - Probably top 3-4 offence next year. Purple will still good, and we didn't show you guys any of the new Good Gold/Silver cards......

Yeah, Mono-Silver will probably be forever atrocious. If it wins a game it's because the offense is so wut people don't know what to do with it. Like running a Cacturne in a Sandstorm team.
