Does Warriors Gabriel need an "errata"?

I think you all know what I'm going to ask.  As you know, the Warriors version of Gabriel doesn't specify that he remove an EVIL enhancement.  So we have a 10/10 Silver hero who can keep making Battle challenges just to take out all the OFFENCE of his opponent, thereby strengthening his own evil characters.  He cannot be captured by Unholy Writ, and it takes a big EC just to kill him by numbers.  I have used Gabriel for this purpose many times, and actually won this way, even though it just feels so wrong.  He can take out cards like Authority of Christ, He is Risen, and so many other meaningful and powerful GOOD cards.

Am I the only one who feels that it is time for someone as good as Gabriel to stop being allowed to do such an inherently BAD thing?

Battle Prayer doesn't have an errata, I don't see them giving one to Gabriel.

This has been suggested in the past, and it was the reason why the reprint specified EEs. But cards really only get errata if they don't work at all the way they are worded, (not just if they don't work the way they "should" for all you Split Altar mourners), or if they are OP'd (like Holy Grail was before its errata). Gabriel is neither, and this happens quite a bit in Redemption: Zachaeus is one of the most common ways I've seen to fetch Gates of Hell, Battle Prayer (Wa) has probably been used more often to recur Besieging the City than good gold cards, and other examples of good characters doing "evil" things.

You are correct that there are multiple good cards that can do some bad things.  But I'm not sure this means that all errata have to be an all or nothing thing.  Most people don't know the reference for "battle prayer", but we all learn about Gabriel even at a very young age, and it just bothers me that there is a version of him out there that can do something like this.  But of course I can just simply choose not to play him that way, which is why errata may never come.

How ever some thing good can be used for evil.  It then needs to be removed e.g. the story behind DoN.
in the end love wins I can hear the rhythm of the lion of the tribe of judah. He's alive he's coming!

So because random young child A has heard of Gabriel and not Battle Prayer, Gabe should be errata'd and Battle prayer isn't a big deal?

Alex, I did not say Battle Prayer should not be errata'd.  I wish that all those types of cards were.  I'm explaining why I feel its a little more serious when we have a card as popular, well known, and used as Gabriel doing some bad stuff.  I'm disagreeing that IF we errata this card then we MUST errata this other card.  Yes, this would be logical and consistent, but I don't see it as required.

This has got to be an all or nothing campaign. How silly would it look to just errata one of these cards?
