All the N.T. heroes in The Disciples set are from the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John). There are no heroes with a reference from Acts or later in The Disciples. No deacon reprints yet.

I'm a little disappointed that Apostles are going to be Purple when many of them were Prophets, and I'm a lot disappointed that they're not Green when a (now basically useless) Regionals promo specifically referencing them is Green, and I'm crying quarts that Martyrs isn't the new N.T. Red theme (in which 11 of the Apostles would fit), but I guess from a gameplay standpoint, if it couldn't be Red then Purple was the next best choice.

Still, this card is O.P. I can't wait to see what other awesome cards are in this set!

the only added benefit is it negates horsies, but john is still worlds better.
