When I was contemplating whether or not to join this my first choice was I/J. Those decks are strong and I love playing them. They do have a site access issue. Part of this tournament is going to come down to what Jordan decides about Sites. That's why I think we should just keep the standard rules. Ultimately I would imagine one of the starter decks will win out due to having AotL, SoG and CM.

Well one of the starters doesn't have CM ;)

I had actually been thinking that I/J didn't have it, but I was wrong.

Yeah, you will be the lucky one who gets to use 5 Dominants, Drrek.

As for the site issue, I am going with the majority vote of no change to the rules, but with the understanding that sportsmanship should be valued; i.e. it is really up to you how you approach it, but including seven silver sites vs. the pre-Women set, who has absolutely zero chance of rescuing souls from those sites, is not very sporting. Other inevitable strategies that will come up (like using Three Nails vs. the Angel Wars set, etc.) do have ways of dealing with those obstacles, and it will be up to the players to design their decks accordingly. My preference would have been to allow all no SA Heroes to have site access, but I wanted to leave it up to the entrants to decide, and so they have.

As for who I think will win, I'm going to pick Apostles as my long shot pick. The player with that set has been trained well... ;)
Also Paul will be a boss if he can get saved.

I think it likely will.  I think TxP is awful for this format.

The thing about this layout is deck building is the name of the game so really anything can happen.

Imo Kings and Warriors have the best shot of winning (FBTN decks nuff said). After that I would say the Tins... then G/H or I/J starters... then various sets... with C/D starters, Angel Wars and Texp (60 card deck and minimum deck size is 50 cards lolz) tailing in last.

I think some of the older sets could offer some neat surprises! I am very interested in seeing what people do!

I'm thinking FOOF has the advantage, if for no other reason than several concentrated themes and three tins with prophets. ROA well likely go far, since many decks will likely have splashy defenses and be susceptible to TGT. Kings and Warriors will likely do well with FBTN, and I/J and G/H will likely do well with the dominant advantage.
ANB is good. Change my mind.
